911 Tribute
Prior to September 11th, our search and rescue team was designated New York Regional Response Team 1 (NYRRT-1) by New York State. Throughout our 9-11 Tribute, our official designation appears on our uniforms. After September 11th in complying with the National Incident Management System (NIMS), our designation was officially changed to New York Task Force 2 (NY-TF2).
